FSMA 204 Compliance Planning and Implementation

CEU's: 1.75 | Duration: ? Hours | Cost: $?

Description:

In FSMA 204, the Final Rule, the FDA established traceability recordkeeping requirements for certain foods. This regulation is intended to allow for faster identification and rapid removal of potentially contaminated foods from the market. Companies are required to share these records with the FDA within 24 hours, linking product lot codes and other key data elements in a sortable spreadsheet.

Food companies must be prepared to collect, store and share this information, as well as document their FSMA 204 traceability plans. Learn the basics of the Final Rule and how you can build a plan for compliance based on this regulation.

During this seminar, we will provide an in-depth overview of the rule, review industry best practices for compliance, and detail key considerations for building a traceability plan. We will present real-world examples and scenarios to help companies understand their data requirements and trading partner dependencies, as they navigate through this complicated process.
